About Dawn:

Dawn Shears is a Website developer and Internet Marketing professional with over 10 years of web over 20 years of collective, design experience. She has worked on over 150 business web sites and has spent the past 8 years as an Internet marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) consultant. Dawn utilizes only best-practice techniques for SEO, the same methods endorsed by the world’s top SEO experts.

She served the direct selling, technology sector for over 6 years as a web and SEO professional with Jenkon, a software company located in Vancouver, Washington. During her tenure with Jenkon she designed and developed internal web sites and was responsible for custom branding Jenkon’s browser-based software product for over40 clients including Sarah Coventry and atHomeAmerica.

Dawn has developed websites that support the financial sector. She has designed and developed large, internal sites as well as corporate sites for banks and credit unions and branded the clients' web-based software. In this area she was responsible for regular changes and modifications on over 60 live, client sites; over 25 of which she created and branded software for.

Her web experience has also come from several years of freelance work for corporate clients as well as from the academic sector, creating web sites for Southern Illinois University's Instructional Support Services Department. She has provided graphic design for many well-known clients including Coca-Cola Corporation, Price Waterhouse Cooper, Harcourt Brace and Jovanovich Publishers and The San Diego Zoo as well as serving as creative director for three national magazines.

Dawn holds a M.S. degree, Cum Laude, and a B.S. completed in the University Honor's Program at Southern Illinois University. Born and raised in San Diego, California she currently resides in Nehalem, Oregon.
